Steve Lynch
Stellar Sound is an award winning music company that specialises in commercials and films. It was set up in 2004 by composer Steve Lynch.
Notable drama work includes a synth-heavy score for "Let Us Prey" (Fantastic Films), a dark western score for "An Klondike" (TG4), which earned him an IFTA nomination in 2017, and a live orchestral score for "Saving the Titanic" (History Channel/PBS), which was recorded in Bratislava with an orchestra, and earned him an IFTA nomination in 2013.
Film work in 2019 included Dathaí Keane’s “FINKY” (Abu Media), and Chris Baugh’s “The Boys from County Hell” (Blinder Films).
In commercials - Steve has scored over 300 campaigns all over the world for brands such as Dolby, Nike, Xbox, BMW, Skoda and Mercedes Benz.
He releases albums of electronica, more about that here.
He works out of a studio on the edge of the Atlantic surrounded by strange instruments and odd noisemakers.
The name Stellar Sound was chosen mainly because it’s more unusual than Steve’s own name, which unfortunately, is common as muck. Steve would like to point out for the record that he is neither Steve Lynch 80′s guitar legend nor Steve Lynch, popular comedic songwriter. He has no problem with either but you can see where it could get confusing.
